Ice Spice recently posed for a photo with her gold plaque for her breakout single, “Munch (Feelin’ U),” signifying the sale of over 500,000 certified units from the RIAA. The Bronx rapper released the song back on August 10, 2022. Its success helped propel her to become one of the biggest rising stars in hip-hop.
Ice Spice posted the picture with the plaque on Instagram, early Monday, alongside several other photos of herself rocking a cropped Supreme shirt and mini skirt. She didn’t add a caption to the post.
“This outfit sooooo cute!!!!” City Girls rapper JT commented. One fan also wrote: “I am so proud of you sis. You earned this!!!” Another joked: “you couldn’t waterboard me outta that room.” One commenter also noted that many fans have been theorizing that Cardi B recently dissed Spice during her set at Hot 97 Summer Jam. “They saying Cardi shading you sista idk if u umm saw!” one user noted.
Despite the rumors, Cardi clarified that she wasn’t intending to diss Ice Spice during a live stream on Instagram. “For y’all motherfuckers that’s on Twitter tryna be messy, please, cut the bullshit,” she said. “I don’t — that’s not me, like come on now. First of all, y’all been wanting me to be messy all things. Y’all wanted me to be messy on the song, y’all wanted me to — nah, come on now. Cut the bullshit, please. Get the mop. Y’all being too messy and y’all being annoying.”
