JAY-Z and Beyoncé have reportedly purchased the most expensive home ever sold in the entire state of California for $200 million.
According to TMZ, the couple’s new property, which is located in Malibu, is 30,000 sqft. and sits on 8-acres of land that looks over the Pacific Ocean. The house was designed by Japanese master architect, Tadao Ando, who is also designing the house that Kanye West bought in Malibu.
It was previously owned and built by William Bell, who is one of the biggest art collectors in the world . It took him almost 15 years to build the all-concrete structure. The media outlet reported that the house is also the second most expensive real estate deal in the U.S. — the first being a $238 million NYC apartment.
Apparently, this is JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s second huge real estate purchase in the Los Angeles area. Sources told TMZ that back in 2017 they purchased a mansion in Bel-Air for $88 million.
